Thank you very much :D I only started drawing them a few years ago.. completely random.. I picked up a pen and drew a circle.. then a circle inside that circle.. all started from there :)

Well done Jim. Really like the colors you chose for this piece, I think the slightly more muted palette suits it! It still retains a nice warmth.

I have 2 mirrors taped together and placed at the centre of a 56cm circle. I start of by drawing the one segment but by using the mirrors I can see what the complete mandala will look like. I use this method to decide whether or not to commit to drawing the whole mandala which, as you said, is simply a matter of reflecting and rotating
